The game is way too hard to play for 15 runs and win i would love if there is a way to drop the hp of enemies or make the troops more powerful as to start
Unless I'm just unaware of it the gallery room doesn't have any of the text lines so you do get something for completing it in the time frame I'd like that it has a way to see all the artwork they made they put in work might as well show it
you can beat each stage by focusing on just one minion.
most important upgrade is range, get enough and you outrange most major threats and just win cause they never hit you.
if theres something you cant/arent outranging, focus on damage so you get through stuff faster and can potentially get to the one dangerous enemy sooner.
also of course focus on unit amount. get 3 minimum, more if you are clearing the enemies but one or two lanes is left open. you honestly rarely need speed or rate, but they can occasionally bypass a hurdle. hp only bypassed a stage once for me, because the only ranged enemy did just 4 hp and i just got to as point he couldnt kill me before i wiped the board.
considering ive beaten the whole game with this method? most of the time doing so on my first try at a stage? yeah pretty sure.
example, first stage the ranged guy is the green slingshot looking one. just pump into range, send them in the middle since that has the enemy closest to spawn (golden pot thing) and hitting an enemy generates xp, so you want to start hitting him asap. 5 or so upgrades into range should be enough that you can attack him without being attacked.
farm exp, get the range high enough to outrange all the plants, and have enough capacity to send at least one slingshot on each row.
also several enemies have piercing shots, that trivializes the stage since one piercing shot can hit the rope even if the enemies are there.
also if you didnt notice the enemies you fight are your units in the next stage, so keep an eye on what they do/what their attacks are so you know which one to use next round.
send anyone down any lane for the first round, it doesnt matter, the whole point is the first round gives you a ton of xp regardless. dump all of this xp into the green slingshot guy, on the range stat in the middle.
this should give enough range to attack the golden pot on the middle lane without being attacked by anything, this gives about 30 xp a round.
use this on range, getting 3 units max, and damage on the green guy if you dont have enough for range. you dont need much damage, 4 or 5 is enough, you dont need rate at all.
range 8 or 9 should be enough to start clearing the majority of the board with just these three units. 10 definitely clears it.
it will clear it, but one or two units dies, at this point upgrade your max units to 5 or 6 so you can send in more guys once the board is clear. they will have a free run to the ropes.
should win by run 12 or 13.
and if you pay attention to your enemies, the flower in the middle lane seems to be the best ranged unit they have, this is your unit of choice in the next stage to upgrade.
second stage again, modified strategy. use the bottom pink flower.
level range and rate about equally, but also dump ALOT into max units. dont remember the amount, the the max unit upgrade cost 65 by the end.
hp is useless, the hand guy does 100 damage, with super high range and piercing.
goal is every time a unit dies, replace it with a new one. keep sending one in each lane. when one dies, and the hand projectile is not in the way, send a new one in that lane.
eventually your range and army size will allow you to kill the hand guy, once that happens all you need is enough leftover units to dump into the empty lanes. i won at run 12.
ranged units are king.
find the best one. hierarchy is: best-anything with piercing, next whichever has the highest starting range, last if all else equal is whichever has a damage upgrade
tailor your strategy to the ranged enemies that exist.
low range, low damage? try scaling hp or just outrange them.
high range, piercing? overwhlem them with numbers but dont let them pierce multiple targets at once. one unit in a lane at a time. employ distraction as they will always attack the closest target. build up your range until you can kill the dangerous enemy while it is busy attacking something in another lane.
keep in mind I rerolled for a starting speed discount, so I don't know long it may take otherwise or if it's possible in 15 runs.
but yeah, get 3 units and the chest's speed to 6 asap, pester the eyes for xp and replace a chest once it falls.
once you have that try to get a 4th unit and level the other chest stats until hp hits 5, then focus damage to 7, it's enough for the chests to rack up enough damage to clear the eyes in 1 wave.
I should mention that you should time your spawns so that your units avoid the projectiles. to safely avoid the void, wait for its epicenter to reach the outside of the outer walls of the lane.
dump into units and wait for the board to clear of projectiles and send a chest in each lane to cleanup.
Yeah... It takes like 50 runs for anything to start working, and by then all the enemies get one-shot. I didn't really have fun playing this game and the scenes I've seen were... alright... I don't know about this one. The power scale is definitely broken. Like the game is too frustrating for what it is. Or maybe it really just doesn't explain itself well. What are the different uses of the three different units? I have no idea. I guess that one is a standard physical unit, another is ranged, and another is... speed? Okay? And the game expects people to beat these levels under 15 runs... yeah, that's happening.
Well first, I tried to level up all units at once, but they kept dying in one hit from almost anything. Not to mention that only the blue slime would ever attack.
Then, I decided to focus on the blue slime, but no matter how much I level it up, it can never kill anything. And focusing on numbers doesn't help, either. The best I can do is raise HP once or twice to have the blue slimes survive more than one attack, but no other stat raising seems to do anything. It's only after the 15 goal that leveling up seems to do anything.
Like, are the other two units even able to ATTACK at all?
Mmm, yeah. It seems like you just need to adjust your strategy. I'd recommend playing a bit more and seeing if you can come up with something different.
Well, I played more...and I can tell you that two units are useless and the third one is only usable after 15 runs. The slingshot never shoots anything and the red slime does nothing. Meanwhile, the blue slime only gets good enough to kill something (by ganging up on a single enemy with a full team of 5 or 6) after around 15 runs.
So reaching the 15 run goal is impossible unless I get REALLY lucky with exp sales.
Rescuing Nova is way harder than anybody else. Because you can lvl no one to DMG. Even worse is, that the second troup (The Cherry looking one) does 0 DMG (Litterally 0) so leveling him is only to gain exp?
a bug would appear where if you click the dialogue too fast, the maids would disappear.
Anyway, I can't believe Maeve was the maid behind the slaughter all along. Although I shouldn't be surprised, she constantly breaks the 4th wall and isn't even in any real danger, wouldn't be surprised if SHE'S the one sending all the monsters to kidnapped the other maid, and then when the master rescued them, she resorted to delete them from the game like she's Monika or something.
I believe it's any kind of monster and special scene? I didn't mash through all of those scenes so maybe it only triggers on one specific scene. I'm playing on an Android btw, although the bug is easily fixed by closing and opening the game.
Android 11 was considered end-of-life as of March 27th, 2024. You can't get new security patches, so I'd bet it just locks you out of the install... Sorry!

The two plants in round 2 take on the green ring from the healer and just go through like it two, it stops the points from going up and doesn't allow healing sometimes too, sometimes they take longer to be effected if you don't touch rng

You're a bastard, I've studied how the difficulty increases the more you level up your minions. It doesn't matter which minions you use, there's either a gimmicky trick to defeat them or there's no way to defeat them at all!
EDIT: I didn't know you could increase the number of minions you can spawn. I won it instantly the moment i found that button. :P my wrong
It's... okay. Decent art, points for simplicity, points for understanding that not everything needs to be a huge megaproject that takes years to complete across a billion updates. Nice idea for gameplay, with mediocre implementation. The biggest problems are the user interface (just arrows and enter/spacebar?), and how poorly explained (which is to say, not really explained at all) everything is. Other problems include: rounds that go on a while suddenly ending without explanation even when I have units still alive and attacking, and one of the units's ability to pull enemies resulting in enemies going behind you, eventually off the screen behind the start, which apparently screws up targetting and tends to result in the first bug happening.

Found it fairly easy to play - i just focused one type of unit that had hp and kept increasing that and amount of units till I overrun the enemies with numbers basically.
Browser, Chrome, PC. All but the first level had the units spawn with random AI and stats, I'd see small green circles around units other than the healing flower, full-sized green circles around the not flower units, flowers with no green circle at all, hands shooting thunderbolts, stuff like that. Those were the most visible and easy to explain, but I'm pretty sure there were more that were less visible because after the first level balance felt completely off. Things like units would randomly survive way less time than the last wave despite having the exact same deploy order and upgraded health
I'm playing in the 1.3 with the last rescue, but sometimes the enemies just become near immortal out of nowhere, while the other lines go off without a struggle, idk if it's a bug but it seems like one for me.
Edit:found out that is the violet portal-ish thing that sometimes doesn't work properly, maybe a 4 attack speed wasn't healthy for the game
That's not what I meant, I was trying to say that the enemies' health seems broken, since I got stuck, I got an absolutely absurd amount of damage, and they would sometimes die within less than a second, but randomly one of the three lines would get an enemy with a huge amount of health, I couldn't even kill it after the time has run out and my troops started dying
So if yall are having troubles with yhe levels ill try and help, for level 2 you just gotta spread out the first troop the pumking looking one, do 3 of each on each column, so column 1 3 guys column 2 3 guys and column 3 3 guys once you do this you starts the same pattern again from the first

Then it honestly makes the game less appealing, sadly.
It's so hard and unintuitive and there's no real reason to invest myself in it.
It honestly would've been better to give the game an easy mode than to make the whole game pointless by giving a key to the backdoor from the start.

You sure about that? None of my minions seem to do anything before they're riiiight in the face of the enemies.

You know what? This game really need a walkthrough. The average player wouldn't be able to make it through without one.

The strategy doesn't work on Stage 3.
Those dickeyes with tentacles outrange everything I can stat and the only creature with range CAN'T HAVE MORE THAN 1 HP!

Couldn't save Cass. Broke all the ropes, but it wouldn't progress and then would end as though I lost.

My units are wimpier than legless goombas. They wouldn't be able to harm a fly even if they tried.

It's certainly the hardest puzzle! Here's how I do it...
Use Apple Units to "build an engine." (1-10 Runs)
Seraphim Units tank hits, and Cherub Units have piercing attacks...
You don't need to kill the enemies, only the seals in the back!

Sometimes your units just don't attack and just go all the way to the top for no reason
not all units can attack sideways

Super broken, units spawn with random AI and random stats. only the first rescue wasn't unplayable
What platform are you playing on? I've had some minor bug reports, but nothing that qualifies as super broken.

Enemies should show their attack speeds now, but no health. The enemies in the third and fourth stages are much tougher!
